Year 4 residential trip to Arethusa

Spirit of adventure in Year 4

On the 9th November, all the children in Year 4 went on a 3-day residential to the Arethusa Centre.  The rooms had a beautiful view of the River Medway and we took part in a really exciting array of activities.  The children were very positive, showed great initiative and were supportive of each other.  Several of the staff at the centre commented on their excellent manners.

Here are some quotes from the children:

'I conquered my fear of heights on the high ropes.'

'I learnt independence and bravery.'

'I feel more confident now.'

'The residential helped me to learn about kayaking, climbing, making fires and shelters.'

'I really liked the food, the rocket building, the talent show and the view from the lounge.'

'It was amazing, super, spectacular and unforgettable!'
