As October marks Black History month, Year 6 have spent some time in class looking at influential figures from Black History and examining social issues which unfortunately are still prevalent in our society today.
On Wednesday this week we welcomed two parents in to class to discuss prejudice with the children. As a year group we conducted a social experiment (involving biscuits!) to facilitate discussion around prejudice and how it makes people feel. The children were very keen to share their opinions and emotions around this.
