This evening saw the first Gardening club of the new term. The plants have been growing wonderfully well during the summer break and the children had the opportunity to pick some of them. They had two huge pumpkins, some courgettes and lots of beetroot. They were excited to see lots of herbs such as basil, thyme and parsley that they will pick over the next few weeks. We also have some delicious tomatoes and curly kale. The kitchen are already eagerly preparing new recipes with our produce for the children to taste.
