Year 2 at the Environment Centre

Last Tuesday, Year 2 went to the Environment Centre as part of their science work on materials.

They learnt about recycling and how to look after the environment better. They spent the morning making paper from recycled materials and then created their own colourful designs in their groups. This was very messy but a lot of fun. After lunch, the children went on a walk around the grounds and played a recycling game which made the children think about which materials they could recycle. It was a great day and many thanks to all the parents who came with us.
